Hi,
If my parent is coming to Canada on super-visa for 6 months, do I need to purchase insurance for an entire year?

The Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website states,
You must be a real visitor to Canada who will leave by choice at the end of your visit.
You must also:
-have valid Canadian medical insurance coverage for at least one year
We suggest that it is best if you contact the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) Call Centre directly.
