Dear Anna,
Thank you for giving me this chance to discuss my concern
I'm accompanying my husband (he is Canadian citizen) outside of canada he is having job with foreign private company, since I entered canada first time August 2011 ( my PR card will expiry March 2017). I entered canada 7times for shorts periods total of stay is between 8 to 9 months. I will be able to go canada only next summer so total stay will be between 12 and 18months before expiry date of PR card.
Are days I accompanied my husband outside of canada count as stay in canada? Can I apply for Canadian citizenship? Or if only renewing PR card when I have to apply? I appreciate if you clear my situation as possible as you can. Thank you
Best Regards

No - you cannot apply for citizenship. The days you spend outside of Canada with your Canadian citizenship husband are only counted towards keeping your PR status. They cannot be counted towards citizenship. For citizenship you need to be physically living in Canada. From the time you decide to return to Canada to live here, it will likely be at least four years before you will qualify to apply for citizenship.
