Hi there,
I moved to Canada to live with my Partner(PR) in Sept 2013 on a 2 yr work Visa. In that time I have found a great employer and we have had a child together. I applied for PR and OWP under sponsorship of my partner. But Things have changes recently and she no longer wishes to live with me and cancel the application.
I have been issued my new OWP expiring 18/01/2018, but have not been approved of PR yet. On new OPW I have the temp Resident status under R183(6).
I was wondering if there is anyway I can continue living in Canada while working and apply for a new PR under different conditions. I will have to be able to work as I need to support myself and my child.
I have looked on CIC and tried searching forums for a similar situation unsuccessfully.
Thank you for any assistance you can give. Cheers, S. Day
