Hello,
Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.
If you are referring to the 3-month waiting period for OHIP, it is not likely you will be able to get reimbursements. However, you can find some information regarding what your options are during that period in our Settlement.Org How can I pay for health care in my first 3 months in Ontario, or if I don't have OHIP? article.
We also strongly suggest that you contact the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care/ServiceOntario directly to confirm this information and for information specific to your situation.
Call ServiceOntario, INFOline at: 1-866-532-3161 (Toll-free in Ontario only) TTY 1-800-387-5559. In Toronto, TTY 416-327-4282 Hours of operation : 8:30am - 5:00pm
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.

Hi:
I applied for my PR 17 months ago and we received a letter we are on the final stage. I´m giving birth anytime now and still haven´t received my PR so I can apply for OHIP. Is it possible to get reimbursed by OHIP once I get my PR if it is within 90 days after I give birth?
Thanks a lot,
Thanks a lot
