How to Withdraw Wife's Application?

hi my name is samita.
this question is in regards to my younger brother.
he applied for his pr under cec in april 2014 and then in june 2014 he went back home and got married and then after coming back he added his wifes application to his current application.
and after a long wait and couple of documents submission and re submissions he got his PR in feb 2016
mean while his wife started getting all itchy about the pr application taking to long to process as it was almost 1.5 years since their marriage.
and 1 of her friend came to canada and my brother helped her out by finding her an job and staying place n all...
once my brother got an chat of his wife and that girl. in which it was mentioned by both of them that she will come to canada after she gets the pr without letting my brother know. and he has kept all the proofs.
now he has finished his landing successfully in FEB. but didnt tell her that he got his PR. now if he wants to withdraw her application right now will it affect his PR. and yes he didnt still receive his PR card yet.
