Is there an office I could go and find out about my PR card status ,???

Unfortunately, there is no office where you can go to ask about the status of your PR card.
You may want to call the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Call Centre directly to find out if they have any updates regarding the status of your PR card.
