Sponsorship - COPR not received for Child

We live in Toronto and have submit the sponsorship application for our dependent child. We came to know through CIC that our sponsorship application was accepted and COPR will be send for my child. After few months when we dint hear anything, we inquire and were told that COPR for my child was already sent. However, we did not receive the COPR, we are contently calling CIC and emailing the processing center. it has been more than a year and still we are without the COPR document and without any guidelines from CIC on how to proceed further. every time we call, they will say we will make a not and will escalate it to the case processing center. Any one know what to do or have been in similar condition? please let us know.
Also, does anyone know if there is a date constraint on COPR if yes, then for how long it usually valid and how should we get a valid replacement COPR for my child ?

1. Since sponsorships for dependent children are not processed in Canada, you would have sent your sponsorship/application to Mississauga, it probably was sent to Ottawa (considered overseas office for some applications) or one of the US offices.
2. The COPR is only valid for a year after the date of the medical.

Thanks a lot for the quick response and the link, we just mailed the Application for Replacement of an Immigration Document (IMM 5545). I hope to get a valid replacement COPR soon, I will keep the forum posted with new updates.
