I was terminated from my full-time job after 11 years.

While I was waiting for EI I acquired another part-time to full-time position at considerably less pay.

It was suggested I let my claim lie dormant and reactivate if position stays part time.

What I would like to know is if I reactivate claim because my hours have been reduced (4-5 months down the road) will I still get 42 weeks of insurable earnings I am entitled to or will my weeks be reduced by the length of time (4-5 months)claim has been dormant.

I live in B.C. (don't know if this makes any difference or not)
