Hello Jing,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

We can appreciate that you would be interested in this information.

According to the The Newcomer's Guide to Elementary School in Ontario guide,

Teachers may also use different teaching methods in order to accommodate the needs of English language learners

You can also find some helpful information in this Supporting English Language Learners in Kindergarten - A practical guide for Ontario educators guide on what the teacher may do and use in order to support English language learners in the classroom.

It may be helpful to speak to your children's teacher directly to find out what options are available and to see what type of support they may need.

You indicated that you are in Windsor. You may also want to contact the nearest settlement agency or see if there are any Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) located in your children's school.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
