Gave Two Weeks Notice and was Terminated

My physio therapist was working 20 hours at one clinic and 20 hours at another clinic for many years.
One clinic gave her full time employment "so she gave a two week notice to the other employer".
They told her to immediately get off the property and there was no compensation offered.
Is this legal in Ontario?
