Hello
I am to sponsor my minor child, living in Canada brought by visit visa.
The application package in the web site of CIC shows ---two categories
1. If your spouse, partner or dependent child lives outside Canada,
2. If your spouse or partner lives with you in Canada,
I am not sure which one is applicable for my situation.
Another issue regarding fees....
1. Principal applicant fees 475 CAD
2. Minor dependent child 75 CAD
What about minor child when he himself is principal applicant ?

According to the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Call Centre, the application that you must use is the Sponsorship of a spouse, common-law partner, conjugal partner or dependent child living outside Canada application.
They also stated that the fee will be $75 CAD.
We suggest that you contact the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Call Centre directly to confirm this information.

Hello everybody!
I have applied for PR for my overseas born son and the application is 'in process'.
My son is now in Canada with a visit visa which is to be expired soon.
I applied for extension of visit visa or to issue a TRP (Temporary Resident Permit) with reference of his PR application status.
I want to know ....what might be the next procedure. Because still no response for visa extension.
What might happen if visit visa expires by this time and no response about the extension or TRP??
