Can someone please call or let me know by email how to get some form of proper ID for my Grand Mother.

She is 92 years old and has no proper ID other than the old red & White Health Card.

I can show tax returns and utility bills confirming her name, Social Insurance Number & Address.

Other than that card I have nothing and its very difficult to get anything done like an accessible parking Sticker.

She has never had a Drivers License, has been in Canada more than 60 years.

Please Advise.
Thank you

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your grandmother's situation with us.

You may want to look into some information on her behalf regarding the option of getting an Ontario Photo Card.

You can find some details and lists regarding which documents are required in order to apply for the Ontario Photo Card.

There is some very helpful and detailed information in our Settlement.Org What kind of ID can I get, if I don't have a driver's licence? article.

Here is an excerpt,

The Ontario Photo Card is government-issued identification (ID) that you can get instead of a driver's licence.

If you don't have a driver's licence, you may be able to show other ID, such as a passport, PR Card, or a health card.

If you don't want to carry these sensitive ID documents around with you, the Ontario Photo Card may be a good option for you.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.

Check for the wallet sized card which provides govt issued identification to Ontarians which would help them access government , financial or buisness services. Check this link https://www.services.gov.on.ca/locations/serviceDetails.do?id=12500
