Hi!
I just wanna inquire how your licencing work here in Ontario.
I had an 11 years of experience in driving back home, when I applied or took the writing exam in St. Catherines, Ontario, I presented a legal document (written confirmation) for my foreign driving experience to the officer in charge that time.
As I have read the agreement here on this website, I should've gotten a G2 licence instead of getting just a G1 licence because of my experience of driving.
They took my legal document and I am not sure if they record it on my file.
This is my full details of my licence.
Thank you and have a good day ahead!

Hey, I hope that you able to get this resolved. even if you didn't get a G2 that written confirmation of your driving experience can still be useful. Full disclosure, I am a State Farm Insurance Agent. You could get a significatly lower rate for insurance with that piece of paper. State Farm has recently started to once again accept evidence of driving in other countries.
Hope this helps Mark Caffrey
