My husband was recently "paid out" of his job that he had been working for 35 years. I am 52 years old and have been working full time (2nd time since children were born) for over 20 years. Once his payout is complete he goes into his retirement which is considerably less money. I was not planning on retiring, but we will not be able to afford our cost of living. We made the decision to move to an area where houses are considerably cheaper. It is quite a small village 2 1/2 hours from our home, 3 1/2 hours from where I work now. I am not sure I would be able to find work, would I qualify for unemployment benefits once we make that move until I find a job?
