Live Outside Ontario- Ontario Driver's Licence?

I am currently residing in Upstate NY and am so close to Ontario that I am frequently at Niagara-on-the-Lake. I would like to obtain an Ontario driver's license. Is there a problem if I do not reside in Ontario?

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.
According to the DriveTest Call Centre, if you would like to obtain and Ontario Driver's Licence this will mean that you will have to surrender your current driver's licence.
You may want to contact DriveTest directly for some information and advice specific to your situation.
