Getting a Divorce Outside Canada

Hi there -
If I was married in India (that is where my marriage certificate is from) and have lived in Canada since. If I get divorced in India - what do I need to do to make it legal in Canada?

Here is an excerpt,
If you were divorced outside Canada, you need to prove that your divorce was legal in that country before you can get re-married in Canada.
