Hello there,
Me, my wife and my daughter (5 yr. old) are Permanent Resident of Canada having PR card with us since Feb-2014 which will expires on Feb-2019. We left Canada on Sept-2014 due to job loss and shifted to Sharjah (UAE) and continued living there. My wife delivered a baby boy in January-2015 in Sharjah, UAE and having Indian Passport.
Now we all wanted to relocate to Canada again in August 2017, will search job in Canada and wanted to settle in Ontario. As I know, we (me, my wife and my daughter) having valid PR card can enter Canada but my son (2 yr. old) do not have PR of Canada so he can’t enter Canada.
So can you please suggest me how my son will enter Canada. Shall I apply for PR of Canada for him outside Canada and how? Shall I apply visit visa for him and then apply for PR after entering Canada?
Please suggest me where shall I get more information for entering my son in Canada with my current situation.
I will appreciate your response
If you need any other information, please let me know
Thanks in Advance

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

It may be helpful to read these previous Settlement.Org Sponsoring A Minor Within Canada and Apply For TRV And/Or TRP? - For My Child Discussion Threads.

We have had some of our users previously state that they have been able to contact IRCC from abroad by dialing 1 613 944 4000. Listen to the options to get to IRCC. Then you should be transferred to the IRCC Call Centre.

Please note though we are not sure if this number continues to work this way.

You may want to give it a try.

Please be aware that long distance charges will apply.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
