Hi all,

I'm originally from Michigan state, US. I recently moved to Canada. I have a bachelor degree in Biomedical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Science with specialization in Medical Laboratory Science, so basically I'm a lab Technologist or scientist. I've been applying on Indeed to every possible lab that match my experience, but no luck at all. I started giving up. Do you guys know any other way to apply for lab jobs than Indded. Also, do you guys think that I'm being denied, because I have a degree from the USA?

Please let me know!

Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

As you may already know, sometimes, it may not be that easy to find work in Canada that corresponds with our skills and experience.

It may be helpful to try and contact the nearest employment service for some assistance.

There are many community agencies that provide employment services for newcomers to Ontario and even more agencies that provide services to all residents in a community.

You can find some helpful information in our Settlement.Org Why should I get help to find work? article.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
