Dear all,
Need your help with my situation. Me and my wife have been issued COPR and have till 03-01-2018 to travel to Canada. We had our first baby born on 08-08-2017 and also informed IRCC about this on 07-07-2017 and requested them to let us know how can we add the baby to our application. Please find below our enquiry and IRCC's response:
Our enquiry: We have been issued visas and related documents to travel to Canada. I would like submit here that my Spouse S****** R**** A** is pregnant and that her delivery is expected in August 2017. It was because of her pregnancy that her medical examination was also delayed for some time. Now, that our travel deadline is in January 2018, we would like to request you that kindly extend our travel date limit so that our new born baby could be included in the application, and that we can travel as a family unit. Please also let us know how to add our newborn baby in the application and that he too is issued the visa to travel with us. IRCC's response:
Good day M******** S*** Z*****,

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.
We can appreciate that you would be very concerned about this situation.
We have contacted the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Call Centre directly for some information regarding this type of situation and the response you received from the visa office.
They suggested that you once again, contact the visa office as soon as possible. They stated that it is important to state that you have already been provided your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR). They stated that you must state your current circumstances and request that you be provided instructions on how to proceed.
You may also want to contact a lawyer or a reputable immigration consultant who is familiar with Canadian immigration application processes for some information related to these type of situations.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
