According to some Ontario labs certain allergy tests may not be covered by provincial health insurance plans, but it may be covered by an extended private health insurance plan.

I have been very sick now for about 7 months and cannot get my iron, or red cell count up - Doctor has recommended Iron Infusions - my work will cover the medication but appears OHIP will not cover the procedure? Is this true, is there anything I can do to have this covered?
