I have missed the citizenship test because i have received no notice of any kind like phone, email or regular mail. By chnage i log in to my file online and see that the test has passed. I submitted the Web form explaining the situation, and after two weeks i get this following reply: If your enquiry has yet to be answered via other channels such as our phone agents, paid representatives, community centres, etc., please write back to us using the IRCC Web form.. I have been logging in to my immigration profile online since then, but have not recieved any reply yet from the IRCC. I have sent another Web form explaining for the second time the situation. Am i expecting anything soon from them? do i have to contact them by phone also? What is the best way to proceed?
thank you.

Hello Tonya, I am sympathetic to your situation. The exact same scenario happened to me about 2 months ago (Feb. 2018). I did not receive any mail or email from CIC regarding my citizenship test date (not even as of today). The online status mentioned that I was supposed to receive the citizenship test confirmation letter by "mail", but I did not receive any notifications from CIC not even by email as I double checked my inbox and spam folders. I wrote a letter of explanation through the IRCC Web form, and also wrote a letter and mailed it to CIC just to be on the safe side. About two weeks later, I received a template email response from CIC quoting exactly your answer "If your enquiry has yet to be answered via other channels such as our phone agents, paid representatives, community centres, etc., please write back to us using the IRCC Web form". It is indeed frustrating to see this much inefficiency from citizenship Canada. I have yet to receive a real response from CIC after 2 months. Who knows when they will reschedule my citizenship test. When you call CIC after waiting for about 1 hour the agent simply says write another letter to them!

Has anyone heard anything. what were your final outcomes thus far? Just Thursday this happen to me. I had gotten one email from them back in March stating my application was accepted and to download the study guide then nothing. September is the 6 month mark and everyone I talk to who have taken the test have told me if I havent heard anything to check online application statue around the 6 month mark, so I did. When I saw that they had sent me a letter via email about my test date (which I never got) my heart just sunk. I had 30 days to get back to them about why i didn't make it and Thursday was day 22, talk about close one. I sat on the phone for 45 mins for them to send me the web form application. I sent it and now just waiting to see what happens next. PLEASE tell me things got situated for you all in a timely manner. thanks
