Hi
i applied for my pr card renewal in end of january.
My application got returned due to photograph specifications.
Am applying again, but this time am applying Urgent due to my mom sickness in India.
In the letter they wrote APPLICATIONS DATED MORE THAN 90 DAYS BEFORE BEING RECEIVED BY IRCC WILL REQUIRE THAT YOU UPDATE YOUR ABSENCES,RESIGN and REDATE THE APPLICATION,OTHERWISE THE APPLICATION WILL BE RETURNED AS INCOMPLETE.
SO what does it mean?
DO i need to do a fresh application or i can send them the same one which they have returned to me with other valid documents for urgent renewal?
Am very confused & if someone can help me with it,its going to be great

Hello,

Thank you for using our forum for your question.

You might find useful information on filling and preparing an application in Immigration, refugees and citizenship Canada's website

How do I fill out an immigration application?

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=007&top=4

The quote that you mention implies

The date a person signs the application form is the date of filing. Where the date on an application is more than three months old (90 calendar days) when received (staledated) or where the date is a date in the future (postdated), the application will be treated as if it is unsigned. An unsigned application is not a duly completed application and will be returned to the applicant.

We hope this information will be useful.
