Hi,
I recently received my COPR and I am planning to land in July this year. I was nominated by Ontario under HCP stream. I would appreciate if you can answer the following questions:
1. I am planning to land in July 2018, stay for 7 days in Toronto and fly back home as I have some work commitments. Then permanently move in on July 2020 (after 2 years). For my PR card, I will give my friend's address in Toronto.
- My worry is will this cause any issue with my Permanent Resident status in Canada? Are there different rules for Ontario provincial nominees?
2. When traveling back, I am planning to apply for a PRTD (as I read somewhere that mailing PR cards is risky). Can there be any issues while getting PRTD documents or questions asked as to why I did not move in permanently after receiving COPR?

It is really important that you carefully review the agreements that you signed as part of your application process. As you may recall, the application stated that all applicants must intend to reside in Ontario and must confirm their intention to reside in Ontario.
