Hi,

I am Post Graduate in Bio Technology with 3.5 years of teaching experience in both school and college level.
I also do have industrial exposure during my intership.

I want to know
- will I be eligible to apply for teaching jobs in Ontario?
- will I have to study for a bridge course to teach? If yes, which one and where are all the related details available?
- if I don't go for a teaching job, what are chances of me getting jobs in the field of Bio technology around GTA area?

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

As you may already know, there are specific requirements in order to teach in Ontario, depending on where you would like to teach.

For more information regarding the Bio Technology field and these other options you are looking into, you can find some very helpful and useful information on the BioTalent Canada website in the Foreign Professionals section.

There you will find some helpful links to Biotech Resumé Builder, Alternate Careers, BioCareer Pathways and Career Profiles.

You may also want to contact Global Experience Ontario (GEO) for some additional information regarding what other options may also be available.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
