Dear Anna, I have a similar question reguarding my return to Canada. i am outside of Canada and have been for a period of time and now am planning my return. I do not want trouble when i plan my return. i checked the website listed above and it said that if a person like my self has been a PR holder for more that five years then the five year period is calculated on a rolling basis. I am a bit confused what that means. Does that mean previous five years from the date I return to Canada.? I have been a PR holder from October 22 2005. I was planning to return to Canada this year around April 2019. What is the 5 year period i should consider? I would appreciate a reply. Samita

1. If you intend to return in April 2019, the 5 year period is from April 2014, so you have to have lived in Canada for 2 years in that period to maintain your residency obligation.

Hello,
I would like to know how long does it take a province like Ontario to nominate an applicant from the time the province says that the decision is in progress. This is in relation to those who apply through Express Entry and have received letter of intent to be nominated by the Ontario Province. Note that all required documents have been submitted.I look forward to reading you soon. Regard
