24 Hr notice for the week

Hey there,
I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and my landlord keeps issuing me a 24 hour notice to enter for the whole work week every Monday to show the apartment to prospective tenants.
We’re moving out at the end of July so I don’t have any issue with them showing the apartment, but every Monday I get this notice to enter for Tuesday to Friday of that week between 9am-5pm and they’ve said it’s in case they have walk-ins, not that any appointments are actually booked.
We have two dogs and the notice requires they be secured during the potential viewing times (which is basically all day, every day) which seems unreasonable to me.
It’s a small apartment, we don’t really have a designated space we can use to secure the dogs in case they decide to show it to someone while we’re at work.
Is the landlord allowed to give a tenant notice in this manner?
Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you!
