We live in an apartment and pay monthly.

Last August 31 we give our landlord our 30 days notice, as we are moving out on the end of September.

We cannot afford the rent anymore.

We are moving to another city for a much cheaper rent. Our landlord would not accept our notice for they want us to give 60 days notice. Landlord want us to pay for the month of September and used the deposit money for the last month on October.

Are we obliged to pay the rent even if we cannot afford it anymore.

My husband just had start his new job coz he lost his job a month ago.

We are paying the borrowed money that we owed to his mom( 80 year old bedridden) before we move.

We asked for consideration from the landlord but they insist on what they want.
