My friend has an interview scheduled for an IRCC landing interview in a few weeks. She has to bring passport photos of herself and 2 adult children still living outside Canada. Once she has prepared a home for her children, they will join her here. Will the children be invited to a landing interview at that time and required to bring photos again?

Also, will she be expected to give a date for when her children will arrive?

Thank you,
Steph

Hi Steph,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

You may find this information in the Settlement.Org article: What documents should I bring with me when landing in Canada as a new immigrant? This article contains a list of documentation they may need for their landing interview.

For more information, you may want to contact the IRCC Call Centre or use their web form. You may also want to contact a Lawyer or a reputable, registered Immigration Consultant who is familiar with Canadian immigration issues for some advice and assistance with this process.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to post them here.

We hope this information is helpful.
