If I apply for a PRTD do I lose my PR status?

I am plannig to apply for a PRTD but can I lose my PR status if the application get refused?
I want to have my PRTD to go back to Canada but my marital status has change, now I am married, does this affect?

1. No. As long as you are in compliance with your residency obligations, the PRTD will be issued. Your martial state has no effect, unless your spouse is a Canadian citizen.
