I am a permanent resident and I'm planning to get married this year to my boyfriend of many years and wants to sponsor him to come to Canada. I am currently on ODSP because I have a permanent disability.
Currently I'm repaying an overpayment to ODSP due to an retroactive payment received from CPP disability benefits. Will I be eligible to sponsor him or do I have to repay my overpayment first?
