Hi there, I need some help.

I landed in 2016 and the PR card is expiring in Jul 2021. However, I have only stayed in Canada for around 1 month since 2016 as I have to move back to Asia to take care of my family. I do work for the same Canadian Insurance in Asia for more than 10 years since mid-2000. I own a house in GTA and leased it out since mid-2018. Could I still renew my PR card next year?

Regards,
Goodboy

1. Not until you are in Canada and in compliance with your residence obligations. So you would have to reside in Canada for 2 years, without leaving before extending your PR card.
