The agreement says no dogs on the the property, the tenant has a dog, the dog had a fight with another dog outside the property, Now the owner of another dog sends legal letters to us. What do I expect from the situation? Thank you

Hello There,
Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.
It sounds like you may have a violation of your rental agreement. If you are not able to reach a solution with your tenant, you may wish to contact the nearest Community Legal Clinic for some advice regarding your situation. You may also wish to contact the Landlord and Tenant Board. The landlord and tenant board resolves disputes between residential landlords and tenants, and handles eviction applications.
The Landlord’s Self-Help Centre may also have some helpful information on their website. The Landlord's Self-Help Centre is a non-profit specialty community legal clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario and mandated to provide support exclusively to Ontario's small landlord community.
We hope this information is helpful. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to post them here.
Sincerely,
Your Settlement.Org Team
