Hello,
I studied in Ireland and will provide copy of my diploma for the citizenship language requirements (studies done in English since it was in Ireland).
Do I need to ask the University an official confirmation that studies were conducted in English ?
Or the copy of diploma shall be enough ?
Thanks,
Suzie

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.

According to the IRCC Help Centre article, What documents can I use to prove that I meet the citizenship language requirement? "Proof of completion of secondary or post-secondary education in English or French, in Canada or abroad" is considered a valid form of documentation to show that you meet the language requirement.

We hope this information is helpful, you may also wish to contact the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Contact Centre directly for more detailed information about your specific situation.

Sincerely,

Your Settlement.Org team
