Will my parents need to apply for a PRTD?

My parents' PR card expires on Oct. 4, 2021, they are booking return flight on Sept. 24, 2021, will they have problem enter Canada ? Do they need to apply travel document ?

1. No, as long as there PR cards are valid and they meet their residency obligations. Check the Covid vaccination requirements for returning PRs
