PR Renewal - expired when I was child

Hi There,
I came to Canada with my parents, I was 3 then.
My Parents had to leave back due to family issues and couldn't complete their tenure for PR residency obligation.
Please advise if I stand a chance to apply for my PR renewal, as I was minor then and had no control on the decisions taken by my family.
