Sponsored Parents - find a place to live

Hello,
My husband and I sponsored my parents a couple of years ago. They have Permanent Residence status since 2018. Unfortunately, my husband doesn't want my parents in the house anymore. At the same time, I am filing for a divorce and already applied for subsidized family housing, where I am going to move with my daughters.
My parents don't have a place to live and stay and they don't have any income in Canada. I am looking for information/source how to find a place for them and what social assistance they can receive.
Thank you

If your parents need immediate shelter, they can contact a local homeless shelter. You can find shelters in your area by searching online or calling 211 (Canada's national information and referral service).
