If you dial 211 on a phone and speak to an Information and Referral Specialist, they will refer you to a housing help centre near you. They also may be able to provide you with some information and referrals related to the resources and options available. 211 is a free, confidential service that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You may also want to connect with your mortgage lender or potential landlord about documents they accept, but a letter from your employer is an example of what might be accepted and can be requested from your Human Resources department or manager.
