How can I sponsor my child born outside of Canada?

My family (one little boy and my wife) and me have permanent resident status from June of 2010.
Our family went to Canada for stamping and returned back to Singapore after one week stay. We are Singapore PR and currently we're living in Singapore.
We were planning to return Canada by the mid of this year permanently, but now my wife is pregnant and we want to first have our baby in Singapore and after that to come back to Canada to continue on living there.
I'm aware that could be a problem with our child born outside of Canada.
Is there a way to obtain a permanent resident status for our newborn child without any hussle?
Do we have to apply for that and if yes where?
What sould be our first step?
