new citizenship law mention that "You must plan to continue living in Canada.
If you leave Canada and live somewhere else, the government may be able to take away your Canadian citizenship" does this effect people who receive citizenship before the new law ?

no you should not ,canada will revoke your canadian citizenship,it's a new law and if you got into canadian base on refugee why do you want to go back to your country ?

I am asking about travel back to home country after becoming canadian citizen.
Basically, you should avoid visiting your country of origin while awaiting to become a Canadian citizen.
