Hi there,

I sponsored my exhusband approx 15 years ago and the sponsorship for 10 years.

I have recently remarried (april 26, 2014) and now I have concerns, wondering if he ever went on assistance before, I have never been notify or received anything in the mail regarding monies owning and I am so scared to find out.

My main question is if I did owe money would I have gotten a call regarding this or would they have garnish my taxes (and I filed every year).

I also have a connection in social services who was able to see if I owe money and they did not find anything on me or any paper work submitted to immirgration regarding sponsorship.

I try to call my ex concerning this and he swear up and down he never went on it but he did say he try to, at this point I dont know what to believe and I planning to start the paper work for my husband come July 2014.

Can someone help me please am so worried and nervous and loosing sleep.
