When you are applying online, you are competing against a large number of applicants. Most jobs in Canada are part of the hidden job market and you find out about them by networking. When you have not arrived in Canada it is hard to network. I would suggest you seek out an Employment Service when you land in Canada to prepare you for finding work in your field.
