Financial Evaluation Form Questions - IMM5768

Hi all,
New member here. I have two questions for about completing the IMM 5768 form (financial evaluation for PGP sponsorship).
Question 8: Minimum Necessary Income
Do I need to calculate this number or do I simply grab the latest number for 2014 from this table:

... so for 3 people I would use $47,051 to answer Question 8.
I am confused because if we are supposed to use a specific number from the table why does CIC even ask this question? Otherwise how do I calculate the value?
Question 15: Employment History
I'm supposed to show income for the past 3 years (2013, 2012, 2011). But the table is asking for Gross Income up to Present day. Since I don't have a tax return for 2014 yet, should I just estimate the value for 1-Jan-2014 - Present? |

If I am sponsoring my parents, do I need to fill out IMM 5406? According to the instructions:
This form must be completed by:
- You, as the principal applicant,
- Your spouse or common-law partner (whether accompanying you to Canada or not), and
- Your dependent children aged 18 or over (whether accompanying you to Canada or not).
It's confusing because I, as the sponsor/Canadian citizen, am not applying to come to Canada. Anyone has experience with this? |
