Landlord Calling Friends

I am having an issue with my landlord calling a friend of mine whom he happens to know because she lives next to a rental unit he owns...
He is calling her to discuss landlord/tenant dispute that I am currently having.
I am just wondering if he is aloud to do this?
This friend is not on my application/agreement as a reference or in any capacity the only reason he knows she even exists is because of the above fact that she live next to one of his units. |

Can Landlord Use Last Months Rent Towards Arrears?

Was Just Wondering unfortunately I had a bit of trouble with rent recently and everything is taken care of now...
But the landlord when he filed the N4 deducted my last months rent form the arrears.mm My understanding is that they cannot do that that money is only for use to pay last months rent on a unit is this true or is he in violation of thr RTA?
