Topic: Landing in Ottawa and moving to Montreal

Hi Anna,

My query is almost same as Jayat except the port of landing.

I applied for being a Canadian Permanent Resident under the Federal Skilled workers category last year in June and have been issued the visa just last week.

I currently work for Investment Bank in London. After having got my visa, I negotiated with the management of my company to transfer me to our Montreal office, to which, they have agreed.

Now, my question is that - Can I make my first landing in Toronto, ON and then travel to Montreal in a couple of weeks post landing?

or do I need to go through the procedure to obtain the CSQ in compliance with Quebec's immigration laws?

I also want to make sure that I have what I need to join our Montreal office in mid-Sep this year.
