Topic: Moving from Quebec to Ontario - Questions

Hi, I have 2 questions.
I'm a Quebec resident that has been studying in Ontario for five years and just graduated.
I've decided to stay in Ontario.
How does this situation change my application process (for let's say OHIP)?
Also, and this you may not know, what needs to be transmitted to my former province of residency?
Shall I wait to contact my former medical coverage institution until I have applied for OHIP?
