Hello,
I just became PR through PNP in British Columbia. I'm going to travel in China and Japan for Christmas and New Years with my partner who is Canadian but has family in Japan. It's unlikely I will receive my PR card before we leave to travel. Can I get my PR Travel Document prior to my departure here in Vancouver, or can I only get it in abroad, in my case Tokyo? If so, I worry, cause I'm going to be there only for 7 days and that includes New Years, which in Japan is a big holiday, where a lot of places close down. How long does it take to get this document? Please help.
