Heating Furnace keeps Breaking Down - Rights?

hi ,needed some advise.
we are a family of 4 moved into a detached house in Mississauga . since we moved in last month the heating furnace ( almost 20 years old) has gone off 3 times. We have called the repair guy and he says he has put a red tag to it and get it changed as its a safety hazard . but the company he belongs to has not sent the intimation to the landlord who is currently out of canada. what are the implications for us as tenants? |
