hi
I have gone through the list of documents required for proof of residency and it says:
Utility bill (home telephone, cable TV, public utilities commission, hydro, gas, water)
Can I use my Bell Wi-fi Internet bill as a proof which has my name and address on it.
Thanks
Hello, Thank you for sharing your situation and question with us.
You can find some helpful information in our Settlement.Org What documents do I need to apply for a Health Card (OHIP)? article.
This article clearly outlines what can be used in each section.
This is what is required for each section:
Section 1. Proof of Citizenship or OHIP Eligible Status Section 2. Proof of Residency Section 3. Support of Identity
Therefore, it would seem that the items you have suggested would not be acceptable.
For official information about OHIP eligibility and application, please contact Service Ontario:
In Canada: 1-800-267-8097 TTY: 1-800-268-7095
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
