Can my friend courier my PR card to me abroad?

All,
I'm in a similar circumstances. My PR card was mailed abroad to me by a relative but I never received the card...2months already.... My guess is that it has either been seized by customs/lost/ or stolen. I have to make an emergency trip in a week to Canada and limited time to get a PRTD approved. However, I still have valid visitor visa for travel to Canada. I was wondering if I can make travel plans with this visa and will be allowed entering into Canada without my PR card of PRTD.
