UK Citizen - Sponsorship or Express Entry?

Hi there,
I'm currently living in the UK and am in a relationship with a Candian man. We met online, have met and are now engaged.
We are hoping to get married in April 2017 and obviously I somehow want to find a way of becoming a resident in Canada so that I am able to live with him once we are married. (Searching for weddding dresses isn't so fun when you have the worry of possibly not being able to live with your future husband!)
Iwas wondering what the best avenue for me to go down is...
- Him sponsoring me (he is on ODSP) - I have researched and am under the impression that he is able to sponsor me on ODSP, however does this mean it is less likely they will accept it? He doesnt have his own home, he lives with his family but there is more than enough space for me and him to live there, as I have already stayed with them all. They have welcomed me with open arms to live in their home if I wish to.
- Or, me applying for the skilled worker entry? I have been to college and university... I got my degree in Early Childhood Studies and am now working as a Playgroup Assistant. I am hoping to train to become a Play Therapist in the future so I am very keen to work and contribute to society if I become a resident of Canada. In fact I will probably go stir crazy if I CAN'T work lol.
My partner called ISKA (Immigration Services Kingston and Area) and they said it would probably be EASIER for him to sponsor me, however if I want to go in as a skilled worker I should try to apply for express entry.
SO, I did the online express entry survey and I couldn't get very far as I haven't done the required English test. I researched it and I understand I would need to take a CELPIP test? Which I would be happy to do.
I guess my biggest question is... do I get the ball rolling and book the CELPIP test and begin my skilled worker application OR should my partner sponsor me? Which would be the best route to go down? And if so, where do I start? Haha. Sorry for the big chunks of information and questions however this is all very confusing. We are very serious about one another and will do whatever it takes to make this happen. I have tried to research the best I can but now I could use some extra advice. Also, I'm not even sure if all of the information I have gathered is correct(?!)
